3 Undercover Settings to Simplify your Job Changes

Are you tired of scrolling through hundreds of job codes while trying to complete an employee job change? We have great news! With the recent Spring Release, you can now search by job description instead of code or simply type the job title in the dropdown menu vs scrolling. Have you updated your dropdown settings to make the most of this new feature? If not, give it a try today!

Navigation Path: System Settings > Display > Edit

Note, if you don’t have access to this page, ask your System Administrator to double-check your security roles under System Configuration > Security > Role Administration.

Once you are under the System Settings page, flag the below settings:

Here is an an example of an employee’s profile before the changes were made. As you can see, the drop-down is sorted by job code vs description, and you have to scroll to find the best title.

Here is an example of the employee’s profile after the settings were changed. Now, the drop-down is sorted by title vs code and you can type the job vs scrolling.

Don’t like it? Don’t fret! Just undo the steps above.
